PHOBIAS DO NOT NEED TO LAST A LIFETIME

We are always one step away from a fearful situation. Fear is a friend that helps us to deal with unfamiliar, stressful, difficult, and harmful situations.

We are born with two fears. The fear of falling, and the fear of loud noises.

Phobias are different. Phobias are real and can cause a state that is irrational and makes it hard to think clearly. A phobia can make us avoid situations that others see as normal.

For example, a person might walk to the 50th floor because they cannot take an elevator. Others may faint at the sight of blood.

Here are a few examples of phobias some people experience.

Phobias can be categorized into groups.

  • Medical –  For example:- fear of blood or needles
  • Environmental – For example:- fear of water
  • Situations – For example:- fear of flying
  • Animals – For example:- fear of birds

How NLP Helps Cure Phobias

Unlike Hypnotherapy, you do not need to be hypnotized when you work with a therapist. NLP or Neurolinguistic Programming is very much related to hypnotherapy and also uses language to help solve problems caused by the subconscious mind.

The reaction we have to the world around us is strongly connected to our feelings.

Using conventional methods, phobias take a very long time to cure. On the other hand, using dissociation, NLP methods can help with as few as the first session to the third session, depending on the therapist’s preferred method.

Using the Fast Phobia method, the therapist works with our representational system. That is, are there any pictures (visual), sounds (auditory), our feelings (kinesthetic).
