An NLP New Year!

This post is on how to use NLP to improve your life this year. It is not as complicated as it sounds. NLP is not an alternative healing method. It is scientifically proven to work and actually built on scientific methods.

Since the ’70s, NLP has been used to help people in need of therapy.

John Grinder and Richard Bandler discovered that studying and recreating excellence was possible. This became the blueprint for NLP.

Now, there’s been lots of water under the bridge. That has led to many of the methods used is tested and proven to work.

Many coaches and therapists have used these methods and molded them to make them their own. This is how most scientific studies work. Study, test, use and continue working to improve.

Today, NLP can be used with or without content. That means you don’t have to tell your therapist what you are working on. All your therapist needs to know is your state.  We use our senses in everything that affects the state we are in. Kinaesthetic, Visual, Auditory, and even olfactory and gustatory are pillar stones to how we navigate our world.

  • How do you feel,
  • What visuals do you have,
  • What are your thoughts inside your head
  • Do you hear voices outside of your head in the visuals (others talking)

These exercises should not be confused with those of a psychological diagnosis. This is a revivification of an event that has caused a negative state.

It may sound complicated or even impossible but it’s not. Everyone I have worked with has been able to elicit some response that has been very successful.

This Can Be Done in A Year Of Change

A lot of people solve their problems the same way they always have. It is okay if it is a different problem using a method that has worked for you before. If it is the same problem and you are not getting anywhere with your previous solutions, I think it is about time you tried a new way.

NLP works with or without content. It works for anything that puts you in a state you do not want.
